The Department of Aerospace Engineering welcomes Chynna Obana! She joined the department in August, 2014 as a graduate assistant, and she will serve in the role of Undergraduate Programs Specialist.

Prior to Maryland, she was an undergraduate advisor at the University of California San Diego in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. She is excited to start working with various student organizations and programs within the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Clark School of Engineering.

Obana completed her B.A. at the University of California Los Angeles and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Education here at the University of Maryland.

Students, faculty and staff are welcomed and encouraged to meet and interact with Obana.
